Our range of Oxides are used by ourselves to make our products, so we know they are of the highest quality. Cheaper types are available, but we do not use them.

Antimony Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1100 Antimony Oxide 1-2% gives a yellow when added to lead glazes
Chrome Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1101 Chrome Oxide- Usually produces greens but will give pink in the presenceof Tin
Cobalt Carbonate £0.00 Quantity: 
1102 Cobalt Carbonate- 1-3% will give a blue galze
Cobalt Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1103 Cobalt Oxide- up tp 1.5% will give a deep blue/black
Copper Carbonate £0.00 Quantity: 
1107 Copper Carbonate - 3-7% will give agreen colour except whn used with alkaline glazes when a turquoise blue colour will be acheived. Fired under Reduction, will give reds
Copper Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1108 Copper Oxide- More concentrated than 1107 Carbonate.Add up to 5%.
Black Iron Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1110 Black Iron Oxide- 4-8% gives dark Browns
Purple Iron Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1111 Purple Iron Oxide- Produces speckled honeyand tan colours
Red Iron Natural Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1112 Red Iron Natural Oxide 2-10% will acheive colours from honey to dark brown.
Red Iron Synthetic Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1113 Red Iron Synthetic Oxide- as 1112 natural but more controlled shading
Yellow Iron Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1114 Yellow Iron Oxide- 3-8% gives yellow to brown colours
Iron Spangles £0.00 Quantity: 
1115 Iron Spangles-Gives blacks and browns. Will produce speckle effects
Iron Chromate £0.00 Quantity: 
1116 Iron Chromate
Maganese Carbonate £0.00 Quantity: 
1120 Manganese Carbonate - Give brown colours. Will produce pinks with alkaline glazes
Manganese Dioxide Fine £0.00 Quantity: 
1121 Manganese Dioxide Fine -as 1120 but will give stronger colours
Nickel Oxide Black £0.00 Quantity: 
1125 Nickel Oxide Black- 1-3% gives dull browns , greens and greys.
Tin Oxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1130 Tin Oxide- A glaze opacifier. 4-7% wil produce a semi opaque glaze, while 8-10% will give a full opaque
Titanium Dioxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1135 Titanium Dioxide- A glaze opacifer, up to 10% will produce
a creamy white finish with a matt
or semi matt surface
Vanadium Pentoxide £0.00 Quantity: 
1140 Vanadium Pentoxide- additions of up to 10% will give a yellow.
When used in conjunction with tin
will give a stronger colour
Silver Nitrate (per gram) £2.50 Quantity: 
1141 Silver Nitrate- primarily used in
Raku firings. Will give Yellow
or Gold effects.
